70-year-old man arrested after getting into altercation with city bus driver

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – A 70-year-old man was arrested after allegedly striking a city bus driver near Ala Moana Center.
Around 10:00 p.m. Saturday, the female bus operator was helping a passenger in a wheelchair at a bus stop.
As the suspect was boarding the bus, the driver told him he wasn’t allowed to sleep on the bus.
Police said the suspect got upset and pushed the driver, causing her to fall back against a door and hurt her back.
Shortly after, the suspect was arrested for interference with a transit operator.
